Registration is accepted on a first come first served based on receipt of a completed registration form and payment of the deposit. Payments may be made by bank transfer or via paypal.

The balance of your workshop price is due a month prior to workshop date. Should the final payment fail to reach us by the date specified, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit. If a booking is made within 30 days of the workshop date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.

We understand clients may need to cancel a booking and any cancellation must be made in writing, emails are acceptable. The date on which the letter or email is received by us will determine the cancellation charges which may be applicable.

Workshops cancelled up to 45 days prior to the workshop date will receive a refund less the deposit of £40. Workshops cancelled with less than 45 days of the workshop date will receive a refund if the workshop place can be filled with an alternative booking. Deposits of £40 to cover the boat crossing feeswill be refunded only if the boat crossing tickets can be claimed back through the boat crossing company.

If the workshop is cancelled by David Churchill Photography you will have the choice of transferring to an alternative workshop date or withdrawing from the contract and accepting a full refund.

Puffin workshop boat crossings may be cancelled by the boat operator if they feel the weather conditions are too dangerous to sail.

Decisions are made at 8:00am on the day of travel and posted on the following Twitter account @skomer_boatinfo.

David Churchill Photography will endeavour to contact you and advise of any sailing cancellations but this will be dependent on mobile phone signal availability.

Outdoor workshops may require walking for several miles over uneven ground and during inclement weather. If you have concerns about your own capabilities and/or fitness, please contact David Churchill Photography before registering. Participants will receive two emails before the workshop: 1) a confirmation of registration and payment, and 2)
details on where and when we will meet, recommendations on clothing, camera equipment and other gear, and a reading list to help you prepare for the workshop, as well as contact information should you have any questions.
